Tutorial Flash Firmware On Samsung Galaxy S2 Via Odin

Today i propose the leadership base that every good android smartphone owner should know: how to flash a Firmware via Odin on Samsung Galaxy s2. Odin is a program very similar to J.A.F. to replace the smartphone Operating system as if it were new, or load a custom rom.

Finally, after almost 2 months from the date of the announcement since March 2012, it was only the user and the owner of the Samsung Galaxy s2 GT-I9100 & GT-I9100G received the android ice cream sandwich update. The news excited is for the owner of a Samsung Galaxy S2 because now able to upgrade Samsung Galaxy S2 to ICS 4.0. So now i will show you tutorial flash Firmware via Odin.

• Please follow all the step that i mentioned below for good result
• Do with your own risk

Tools Required

• Odin 1.85
• Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich Firmware
• LATEST : ICS DXLPF 4.0.4 for Android you can read on my post : Flash android 4.0.4 on galaxy s I9100 (361MB zip file, extract first)
• LATEST : 4.0.3 ICS DXLP6 Android download here (369MB zip file, extract first )

Safety measures before commencing the process of flashing

• Do Nandroid Backup
• Make sure your smartphone batteries are in the stage of no less than 80% full.
• Make sure you have install Kies on PC/laptop.

How to Flash Firmware Via Odin

1. Make your device into USB Debugging Mode ( Settings-> Applications-> Development-> USB debugging )
2. turn off your smartphone .
3. Turn your phone to Download Mode by pressing button Volume Down + Home + Power simultaneously for a period of 5 – 10 times until appear Warning and click button Volume Up to continue.
4. your phone will expose the exposure of Downloading, Do not turn off your phone
5. Start Odin in the PC/laptop.
6. Connect your smartphone to your PC/laptop using a USB cable.
7. Wait for a few moments so Odin identifies the smartphone.
8. NOTE : make sure you do not tick anything except the Odin Auto Reboot and f. Reset Time (default)
9. Click the button and choose the PDA firmware that you have download and extract before this. (Also make sure you select the correct firmware for your model smartphone you) – File firmware file md5 tar
10. Click Start, and the process of flashing will be done. Smartphone you will reboot automatically after process flashing finished.

Now after we completed all the step, your Samsung Galaxy s2  now have been flashed with Android ICS 4.0.4. After flash new firmware via odin if you want to get root access read on tutorial root samsung galaxy s2 I9100.

Easy Tutorial Unlock Galaxy Nexus Bootloader

Actually to update your galaxy nexus to android 4.1 jelly bean you can do it by OTA. But sometimes appear some problem that a lot of galaxy nexus users didnt find the update notification on their system update. So it must be will make nexus users become confuse and panic because they can get the joy of jelly bean update on their device. To overcome this problem you can manually update your phone by flashing it via recovery. But before Flash new rom into your device you need to unlock the bootloader first. As the problem ive mentioned so today i will share how to Unlock Bootloader on Galaxy Nexus

Requirements

- USB Driver

To be able to flash the ROM, for Windows users, make sure the driver Samsung USB drivers installed, if not download and install the drivers. Alternative installation of the driver:

Galaxy Nexus driver

Choose one of the drivers above, if successful at the time when your phone plugged into a computer (PC / laptop) with a USB cable, the Windows device manager should appear as shown below (eg Windows 7).

If the driver is not installed properly, it will appear like the picture below;

If there are problems such as the above, then install the drivers manually by using the android usb drivers from android sdk. do the following step:

• Extract file usb_driver.rar
• Right click on the item Android 1.0 (there is sign withexclamation mark you can look on picture above) and select Update Driver Software
• Choose Browse my computer for driver software
• Click Browse and select the folder usb drivers extracted earlier
• Continue installation of drivers.
• For Mac users, do not need to install the drivers because by default it is detected by the Mac OS.

- Fastboot

Once the driver is installed and running properly, the next step is to download the fastboot executable file. If previously you have downloaded the Android SDK, then fastboot is available in the folder android-sdk-windows/platform-tools/fastboot.exe for Windows and for Mac OS android-sdk-mac/platform-tools/fastboot. If there is no fastboot can be found, download and extract the tool GalNexJBRoot.zip . In the file there are fastboot executable file for windows (fastboot.exe), Mac OS (fastboot-mac) and Linux (fastboot-linux).



How To Unlock Galaxy Nexus Bootloader
Following are the steps to unlock bootloader on galaxy nexus:

1. Go to the directory where the fastboot executable file is located, for example, in Windows using command prompot (Start-> Run-> cmd), go to the directory D:GalNexJBRoot.
2. Turn off the your phone.
3. In the Off state, press the volume up and volume down simultaneously with the Power button to get into bootloader
   
   
4. Connect the phone use usb cable to a computer
5. At the command prompot, type fastboot oem unlock
6. Choose Yes on the confirmation Unlock bootloader? Press the volume up to select Yes and press the Power button to execute.
   
   
7. Once unlocked, the status will be UNLOCKED LOCK STATE

Warning:
The process of unlocking the galaxy nexus bootlader will reset (factory reset) so backup all of you data, see tutorial create nandroid backup

Tutorial How To install Games on Galaxy mini

Yesterday my friend asked me, why there is no post about android games on your blog? ok next post i will share game for galaxy mini to satisfy my blog guest, now let me first share tutorial how to install game on galaxy mini.


note : This tutorial also can use for other android phones

before we install game on our galaxy mini. there is two version of games in android:

1. only .apk file
   - for this kind of game, its easy.
   - first download the game that you want.
   - then copy the apk file that you have download into your sdcard.
   - then search your file in your android phone.
   - click to the file. then the process installation will be automatically
   - finish. now you can play your game. 
2. the second version is game with ".apk file" and "sdcard data/cache file"
   Here is the step:

Make sure your phone is in offline mode.

(gameloft, Glu, com2us, etc ...)

To who download from PC

1. First install the apk file on the phone, run.
2. Will appear the option to download the file data, "yes / no"?
3. Do not select anything, then press the home key, leave the game running in the background.
4. Usually the file data / cache extension is in rar / zip.
5. Extract first, then will appear the folder that contains the data file.
6. Copy the folder that contains the data files to (for example gameloft games) sdcard / gameloft / games.
7. Back to the game which was running in the background, select "no" and then exit.
8. Run the game again, enjoy ... :))

If the game still asks to download data, the possibility of data files are not suitable / not for the version of the game.

for you that download the game directly from your phone:

1. almost the same way.
2. first install the apk game into your phone. then follow the step 2 and 3 above
3. The difference is if use PC you must copy to the sdcard, if you use your phone we just need to move the file.
4. Example: using this application "AndroZip" for extract the rar / zip file. download androzip here
5. extraxt the file use androzip then Will appear later in the sdcard folder "AndroZip".
6. Well, the result file that we extract last will appear in that folder.
7. just moved it in the way mentioned above.

For the data file folder game called "com.bla.bla.bla" (example: NFS data folder named "com.eamobile.nfsshift_na_wf") or files which is beginning with "com" other, usually copy / moved to sdcard / android / data .
